Getting to Borneo RainForest Lodge: To get to your Lodge you have to go to the nearest town to Danum Valley. Which happens to be Lahad Datu. Which is a city in Sabah. From there you drive 97 km to Borneo Rainforest Lodge. That takes around 2 hours.
Low Impact: The low impact of Borneo Rainforest lodge is that it would only be a lodge. All electricity is only in the building and NO harm is being done to the wildlife. Energy and Conservation: They have a green policy. Also a Green Sunday. These both have to do with planting more trees/plants. Recycling, No chemicals, waste water ,reduce energy consumption, noise, local products and community. Cultural Impact: Many people can benefit from this. Because they can see wildlife and it is being preserved. Also people can be impacted by the green policy teaching them better habits. Then their tour guides are most likely to be Malaysian, so another culture you can learn about while your there. |
